Cannabis is part of our culture, but responsible use is part of that culture too.
Different people react differently.
Tolerance, experience, product type, potency, metabolism, mood and environment can all affect the experience.
There is no reason to prove anything.
Know your limits and respect them.
The Weedy-G is an adult community.
Official association membership is 18+, although our community generally fits better with more mature adults.
Cannabis is not intended for children or adolescents.
Not every flower, edible or concentrate feels the same. A familiar amount of one product may feel very different from another.
New product?
New strength?
Low tolerance?
Take your time.
More does not automatically mean better.
Cannabis can affect attention, perception, reaction time and coordination.
Do not drive, ride or operate machinery while impaired. Spanish road-safety authorities specifically warn that cannabis can significantly impair safe driving.
If you are not sure whether you are fit to drive:
Don’t drive.
Combining cannabis with alcohol or other psychoactive substances can make the experience more difficult to predict.
Effects may feel stronger or less controllable than expected.
Responsible use sometimes means deciding not to mix things at all.
Cannabis products should always be stored securely.
This is especially important with edibles because they may look like ordinary sweets, baked goods or drinks.
Store them:
Clearly labelled.
Separate from normal food.
Out of reach of children.
Out of reach of pets.
Cannabis may be a plant, but inhaling smoke is not risk-free.
Combustion produces substances that can irritate and harm the respiratory system. Spain’s national health materials also identify respiratory risks associated with inhaled cannabis.
If someone already has respiratory, cardiovascular or other health problems, extra caution is sensible.
Modern cannabis can be strong.
High-potency flower and concentrates can create a very different experience from lower-potency products.
Higher potency can also increase the chance of an unpleasant experience, particularly for inexperienced users or people with low tolerance. Spain’s 2025 cannabis review notes that some risks increase with frequency of use and product potency.
Cannabis does not affect everyone in the same way.
If it regularly makes you anxious, uncomfortable or unable to function normally, continuing simply because other people enjoy it makes no sense.
Take a break.
Use less.
Or do not use it.
Responsible cannabis culture includes knowing when something is not right for you.
If someone has an unpleasant experience:
Stay calm.
Move to a safe and quiet environment.
Do not drive.
Do not add more cannabis, alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
Stay with someone you trust if needed.
If symptoms are severe, unusual or create a genuine health concern, seek medical assistance.
There is no prize for trying to “tough it out”.
Responsible use is not only about the substance. It is also about behaviour.
Always respect:
Other members.
Private spaces.
Neighbours.
Association rules.
People who choose not to consume.
Never pressure someone else to use cannabis.
Their choice deserves the same respect as yours.
Private association activity should stay within the private environment where it belongs. The Weedy-G does not support street dealing, illegal resale or black-market activity. Membership is not permission to redistribute cannabis outside the association framework.
Cannabis can produce both wanted and unwanted effects.
Personal experiences may be positive, negative or somewhere in between.
Our family has its own experiences and reasons for valuing the plant, but those experiences are personal.
They are not medical advice.
Anyone with significant health concerns, pregnancy, ongoing medication or a history of serious physical or mental-health problems should make decisions with appropriate healthcare advice rather than relying on cannabis-community anecdotes alone. Spain’s public-health guidance identifies several circumstances where risks may be greater.
For us, responsible cannabis culture is simple:
Know what you use.
Know your limits.
Respect the people around you.
Do not drive impaired.
Keep private things private.
Do not involve the street market.
Keep learning.
Cannabis deserves respect.
For the plant.
For yourself.
For the people around you.
