I never planned to become a public personality.
I just kept learning, creating, testing ideas and building things that made sense to me. Over time, that became The Weedy-G and somewhere along the way, it also became OG_FROM_ESTONIA.
Grower. Creator. Founder. Builder.
A little bit of everything.

When I first came to Gran Canaria, different people started calling me OG.
Not once.
Not from one person.
It kept happening.
At first I found it funny because in my head, “OG” meant something completely different.
Then one day I started playing with the letters.
OG = One Grower.
That actually made sense.
So the old online nickname disappeared and @og_from_estonia was born.
Not Original Gangster.
One Grower From Estonia.
A grower who came from the north and found a completely different world on an island in the Atlantic.
My interest in cannabis started becoming serious around 2017–2018.
By the time I arrived in Gran Canaria, I had already spent years studying cultivation and learning everything I could find.
Forums.
YouTube.
Grow diaries.
Genetics.
Lighting.
Nutrition.
Extraction.
Edibles.
Everything that looked real and useful.
I thought that when I reached the Canary Islands, I would suddenly find all the answers.
I was wrong.
There was more cannabis around me, but real knowledge was still something you had to search for.
So I started investing in it myself.
Time. Money. Energy. Mistakes. Experiments.
The more I learned, the more I understood how big this world actually is.
Today I understand many of the corners.
But I also understand that the map keeps getting bigger.
That is why it never gets boring.
The Weedy-G started as an idea. Then one idea became another.
New concepts that sometimes make sense and sometimes end up back on the shelf. I have been all-in from the beginning. If the first ideas had never been pushed into reality, The Weedy-G would not exist in the form it does today. I do not see it simply as an association. For me, it became a place where creativity can actually turn into something real.
We create around cannabis.
And there is still much more we could do than we physically have time for. So now the challenge is not finding ideas. It is choosing the right ones.
Slowly. Privately. Positively.
Cannabis became much more personal to our family during one of the hardest periods of our lives.
After my grandmother suffered a stroke, she lost the ability to speak and needed constant care. She could still communicate in her own way, but life had suddenly changed completely — for her and for all of us.
Our family cared for her together. During those years, we carefully explored different cannabis preparations as part of our efforts to make everyday life more comfortable for her. That experience changed the way we looked at the plant.
At times, we felt that she seemed more active and engaged with daily life. She would walk the dog, keep an eye on the cat, spend time outside and explore the island with her daughter instead of remaining in bed for most of the day. Those moments meant a great deal to our family.
We do not present that experience as medical evidence, treatment advice or proof of what cannabis can do for someone else. It was simply our family's experience — but it became one of the reasons I wanted to understand the plant more deeply.
The same curiosity grew through other experiences within our family and among people around us.
Cannabis affects people differently.
That is why I became more interested in understanding the plant — what it does, why experiences can differ and how it affects different people — rather than simply accepting every claim made either for or against cannabis.
One thing has become increasingly important to me:
I want to know where things come from.
If we use flower, I prefer knowing who grew it.
If we create something, I want to understand the process.
If something can be made ourselves to the standard we want, I would rather learn how to do it than blindly trust what appears on a shelf.
That thinking became part of:
The Weedy-G Collective
Know the material. Learn the process. Improve the result.
I have never been interested in doing something only because everyone else is doing it and I am not interested in mass production for the sake of numbers. I would rather make less and be proud of it. Money is necessary in life but money was never the reason The Weedy-G started.
My goal is simpler:
Create something that is difficult to find everywhere else.
If money becomes the only reason to create something, the quality usually starts disappearing somewhere along the way.
Even if there is less of it. Make it worth having.
BMX has followed me through different periods of my life. I have left it behind more than once. Somehow it always finds its way back. There is something about the combination of freedom, creativity, risk and repetition that fits my personality.
Try.
Fail.
Try again.
Make it cleaner.
Do it your own way.
In that sense, BMX and The Weedy-G probably have more in common than they first appear to.
Some stories can stay private.
Not everything belongs on the internet.
Music became another way to release thoughts that otherwise stay inside. Canary Islands On The Track is where I turn real experiences into lyrics. The stories come from life. The Weedy-G. Gran Canaria. People. Good periods. Bad ones. Things I have seen. Things I have done. Things I still think about.
There is no need to invent a lifestyle when enough has already happened and there is still far more material than I could realistically turn into songs.
One track at a time.
I have probably trusted people more than I should have. Sometimes being good to people teaches you exactly why you should not be good to everyone in the same way. That does not mean I want to become cold. It means I learned to watch patterns.
Energy.
Behaviour.
Truth.
Today I can still be the teddy bear. But imagine a button on the chest.
You can push it.
Just do not expect it to say “I love you” forever if I keep seeing the same lies and the same bad energy.
Trust takes time.
Losing it does not.
I do not want fame.
I do not need to be everywhere.
I do not want everyone to know everything.
What I want is a peaceful private life and enough freedom to keep creating.
The Weedy-G gives me that space.
A place where ideas around cannabis, creativity and community can slowly become real projects.
There is no final version of it.
With enough knowledge and experience, there are always ten new directions you could take.
The difficult part is choosing which one deserves your time.
I am not at the beginning anymore but I do not think there is really an end either.
There is always another genetic.
Another technique.
Another idea.
Another person worth meeting.
Another mistake worth learning from.
Another project that could become something special.
I do not want much but when I want something, I want the best version I can realistically create.
That is probably the easiest way to understand both me and The Weedy-G.
I do not think people need to copy what I did.
Everyone has their own road.
But if somebody sees what we have slowly built from ideas, mistakes, curiosity and persistence and thinks:
“Maybe I can build my own thing too.”
Then that is enough.
You do not need to know everything before you start.
You just need enough curiosity to begin and enough determination to keep improving.
Private by nature. Creative by instinct.
I can be the calmest person in the room or the hardest one to move.
Which side you meet usually depends on what you bring to the table.
